The Porsche Cayenne 957 is the first-generation Cayenne facelift, produced at Porsche Leipzig between 2007 and 2010 between the launch 955 and the second-generation 958. The facelift introduced direct injection on the V8, the naturally-aspirated 4.8 GTS trim and the Cayenne Turbo S at 550 PS. Mansory's 957 programme was developed alongside the Chopster coupe conversion. This catalogue entry covers the bolt-on body kit only; the Chopster structural conversion is a separate restoration-grade brief catalogued on its own page.
Adjacent Porsche programmes: Cayenne 958, Cayenne 9YA, Cayenne Coupe, Macan, 911 991, Panamera 970, Taycan.
The 957 facelift sits on the original Cayenne PL71 platform (shared with the VW Touareg I and Audi Q7 4L); the 958 moved to the PL72 platform with a longer wheelbase, a lower roofline and different fender geometry. The Mansory 957 fender flares, bumpers and bonnet are dimensioned for the PL71 body and do not transfer to the 958. Tracks are narrower than the 958 and front-end overhang is approximately 60 mm shorter. Steel fender stamping (the 958 moved to aluminium) is the second meaningful difference — bonding adhesive on the 957 is steel-grade rather than the aluminium-grade used on later Mansory Cayenne kits.

Comprehensive bolt-on body conversion. OEM bumpers replace via original hardpoints; doors, roof and tailgate retain factory steel; fenders are cut back and bonded with composite flares. The 957 ships with three optional rear spoilers — small lip, GTS-style integrated, or Mansory full-tailgate. Hand-laid 2x2 twill weave on visible aerodynamic pieces, PU-RIM composite on bumpers and flares.
Body-shop install at a Porsche-experienced workshop runs 12 to 16 working days. Specialist shops with 957 experience handle the steel-grade fender bonding without issue; shops familiar only with 958 / 92A bodies should consult Mansory's 957 fitment notes before bonding starts.
The Mansory Powerbox is offered on the 4.8 twin-turbo V8 in both Cayenne Turbo (500 PS) and Turbo S (550 PS) calibrations. With the Powerbox plus Mansory sport exhaust the channel rises to roughly 620 PS / 880 Nm on the Turbo and 670 PS / 920 Nm on the Turbo S. The 4.8 twin-turbo (Porsche M48.50/52) has proven tuning headroom across both 957 and 958 generations; the module is reversible. Powerbox is not catalogued for the NA 3.6 V6 or 4.8 V8 NA — V6 / S / GTS owners specify the body kit and wheels only.
Matched fitment is the Mansory M-series fully forged 22" wheel in stagger. OEM 957 wheel runs 18" / 19" cast on volume trim, 20" / 21" optional on Turbo / Turbo S; the 22" forging trims approximately 4 kg of unsprung mass per corner. Tyre fitment: 295/35 R22 across both axles. Patterns: YN.5, FD.16, M.7. Diamond black, polished silver, gun metal and Mansory bronze. Clears OEM cast-iron and PCCB carbon-ceramic brakes without spacers across all 957 trims. Forged catalogue: hodoor.world/collection/forgedwheels.
The kit fits the 2007-2010 Porsche Cayenne 957 facelift across all five powertrain trims (V6 / S / GTS / Turbo / Turbo S). The kit does not fit the launch 955 (different fascia), the 958 / 92A generation (see the 958 kit), or the 9YA (see the 9YA kit and Cayenne Coupe).
The 957 used-market is concentrated in regions where first-generation Cayennes have aged into collector / restoration bracket. Turbo S examples are particularly sought after; commissioning patterns reflect long-term ownership rather than new-bought donors.
Carbon panel manufacture: four to five weeks. Body-shop install: 12 to 16 working days. Powerbox: four weeks (Turbo donors only). Forged 22" wheel set: four weeks. Does the 957 kit fit a 955 Cayenne?
No. The 955 has a different front fascia (round headlamps, smaller central intake) and slightly different fender lines. The 957 facelift kit was a redesign and does not align on a 955 car. 955 owners with restoration budgets typically refresh to 957 facelift fascia first, then bolt the 957 kit.
How does this differ from the Mansory Chopster?
Chopster is a structural two-door coupe conversion — B-pillar relocated, rear doors eliminated, roofline cut down. This 957 kit is a bolt-on programme retaining the four-door layout, roofline and B-pillar; all panels mount to OEM Porsche hardpoints. Build time is two weeks rather than months.
Is the Powerbox safe on a 15-year-old Cayenne Turbo?
The 4.8 twin-turbo V8 is durable when serviced — critical items are the timing-chain tensioners, spark plugs and turbocharger oil-feed lines. A 957 Turbo with documented Porsche service history is a good Powerbox candidate; cars with skipped intervals are diagnosed at a Porsche specialist before installation.
Can the kit be installed on a 957 with aftermarket parts already fitted?
Case by case. Aftermarket fender flares revert to OEM geometry first; aftermarket bumpers swap directly to Mansory bumpers. Cars with retrofitted Chopster panels cannot host the bolt-on kit. The kit does not coexist with TechArt Magnum 957 fender flares.
Will the 22" wheel clear PCCB carbon-ceramic brakes?
Yes. The 22" forging clears the optional PCCB and the heavier OEM cast-iron brake packages without spacers across all 957 trims. Brake-clearance is independent of trim.
