Mansory Carbon Fiber Wide Body kit set for Maserati MC20

MANSORY for the Maserati MC20 — full carbon widebody on the Nettuno V6

The MC20 is Maserati's first true mid-engine supercar since the MC12 — 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno twin-turbo with the F1-derived twin-spark pre-chamber combustion, 630 PS at 7,500 rpm, dry weight under 1,500 kg, 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Mansory's response is the heaviest carbon programme they have built for any Maserati: a complete widebody conversion across all eight major body sections, plus a full carbon engine hood that doubles as the cooling architecture for the V6, plus the workshop's 4-pipe sport exhaust. Optionally, the kit can be paired with Mansory's V6 tune that lifts the Nettuno to roughly 720 PS / 850 Nm and pushes the top end to 330 km/h. The kit is dimensioned for the MC20 Coupé chassis; the MC20 Cielo Spider has its own programme and uses different rear bodywork.

Sister Maserati builds in our catalogue: the MC20 Soft kit for owners who want the carbon spec without the widebody, the MC20 Cielo for the Spider chassis, the Gran Turismo as the GT-class sister, the Ghibli sedan, and the Levante for the SUV side of the line.

Wide Body kit — the 8-piece set

Hand-laid dry carbon, autoclave-cured. Pieces ship raw weave or with custom paint at order time. Every panel attaches to OEM mounting points; the front and rear over-fenders are the only pieces that involve adhesive bonding to the underlying body line — no permanent modification, full reversibility. Bench install is approximately three to four shop days for the complete widebody set.

Front:

  • Front apron with enlarged air intakes and lip splitter
  • Air intake splitter with set of black grilles (gitter)
  • Front over-fenders, left and right

Sides:

  • Side skirts
  • Carbon door panels
  • Rear over-fenders, left and right

Rear:

  • GT-style rear wing
  • Double rear diffuser with central brake light
  • Mansory 4-pipe sport exhaust integrated into the rear bumper

Engine deck:

  • Full carbon engine hood — designed for optimal V6 biturbo cooling, the largest single piece in the set

Wheels and stance

The Wide Body kit ships with Mansory's FV.5 forged wheels: 9.5x21" front, 12x22" rear, on 255/30 R21 and 335/25 R22 tyres. The wider rear track is the visual reason for the over-fenders — the OEM rear wheel does not fill the widened arch, and the stock 21" front does not balance against the stretched rear stance. Other Mansory and partner forged designs are available; the full forged-wheel range sits in the Hodoor forged wheels collection and can be configured to the MC20 PCD and centre bore.

Mansory's V6 tune — what +90 PS does on the Nettuno

The optional Mansory engine package is a separate option, ordered alongside the body kit or installed later. The Nettuno V6's twin-spark architecture is unusual — the pre-chamber combustion design responds well to controlled boost increases without sacrificing the engine's clean burn — and the Mansory tune lifts factory output from 630 PS / 730 Nm to roughly 720 PS / 850 Nm, pushing top speed to 330 km/h and 0–100 km/h to 2.7 seconds. The tune is paired with suspension geometry adjustments to clear the wider FV.5 wheel package; the workshop will quote per-VIN as the tune calibration depends on the donor's market spec (EU vs US Nettuno are tuned slightly differently from the factory).

Fitment — MC20 Coupé only on this kit

The Wide Body kit is dimensioned for the MC20 Coupé (production from 2022). It does not transfer to the MC20 Cielo Spider — the Cielo's electrochromic glass roof and the rear-deck geometry around the targa-style retracting top change the rear-half panel lines. For the Cielo see the dedicated MC20 Cielo programme. Owners of the MC20 Coupé who want the carbon spec without the widebody should look at the MC20 Soft kit: same Coupé chassis, same fitment, but factory-width bodywork.

Italian supercar geography — where the MC20 buyer differs from the Ferrari buyer

The MC20 ships into a different geographic profile from any Ferrari we build for. Ferrari's installed base is concentrated in Hong Kong, Monaco, the Gulf and the US West Coast; the MC20 is heavier in continental Europe and lighter in the Far East. Two distinct map shapes:

Where the MC20 lands. The Italian collector base is real — most MC20s sold to Italian residents stay there, and Maserati's Modena delivery flow keeps a quiet but steady share. Switzerland (Lugano and Geneva), Monaco and Luxembourg carry the heaviest single-country shares outside Italy. Austria, Liechtenstein and the Netherlands follow. The Gulf is smaller than the Ferrari book — UAE and Qatar have growing Maserati scenes but the donor is harder to find on the secondary market.

Where the MC20 stays light. Hong Kong and Singapore are quieter than the Ferrari/Lamborghini equivalents — the Asian supercar dealer network leans toward the established Italian houses on the resale side, and MC20 secondary stock is thin. The US is the inverse: MC20 sales are growing fast (California and Florida principally) but Mansory ships there on standard freight without a country-specific blog page. CIS via the Tsar programme is a small but steady lane.

Ordering & lead time

The full widebody set ships in six to eight weeks from the workshop; the carbon engine hood alone is the longest single SKU because of the cooling-vent geometry. The optional V6 tune adds two to three weeks because the calibration is per-VIN. The FV.5 wheel set is a four to six week lead, and the Mansory 4-pipe exhaust is in stock. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +44 7488 818747 with your VIN and we will quote landed including paint, wheels, exhaust and (optional) V6 tune. New Mansory releases sit on the Hodoor Mansory blog; for one-off carbon work or interior trim see the Custom Design & Build service.

FAQ

Will the Wide Body kit fit my MC20 Cielo Spider?
No. The Cielo's electrochromic glass roof and the targa-spec rear-deck geometry mean the rear over-fenders, the rear wing and the engine hood do not transfer. For the Cielo see the dedicated Cielo programme.

Soft kit vs Wide Body — which to pick?
The Soft kit keeps the MC20 at factory width and adds carbon spoilers, splitter and diffuser only — it is a half-day install at a body shop and reads as a refinement of the donor. The Wide Body is a full visual rebuild — three to four shop days, +90 mm of total width, requires the FV.5 wheel package. Soft for owners who want the Mansory finish without the rebuild; Wide Body for owners committing to a full Mansory build.

Does the carbon engine hood require additional venting?
No. The hood is designed around the V6 Nettuno's cooling architecture and the integrated vents are dimensioned to the OEM intake mass-flow. No additional ducting is required.

Will the wider FV.5 wheel package clear the OEM Brembo brakes?
Yes. The FV.5 spoke profile is dimensioned around the OEM 6-piston front and 4-piston rear Brembo calipers. Owners who later upgrade to the optional carbon-ceramic brake package should re-confirm caliper clearance with the workshop before shipping.

Is the Mansory V6 tune compatible with the OEM warranty?
Maserati's published warranty terms do not cover engine modifications. The Mansory tune is reversible — the calibration sits on a separate ECU map and can be flashed back to OEM before a service visit. The workshop supplies installation documentation if needed for dealer-side conversations.

Can the 4-pipe sport exhaust be retro-fitted to a stock MC20?
Not cleanly. The exhaust is dimensioned to fit through the Mansory rear bumper and double diffuser; on the OEM rear bumper the 4-pipe layout will sit too far inboard. Spec the exhaust together with the Wide Body kit.
