The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo launched in 2017 as a shooting-brake estate variant of the second-generation Panamera 971 — Porsche's first (and only) production estate body style in the modern line. Where the Panamera saloon closes the roof line into a fastback coupé-sedan shape, the Sport Turismo squares the roofline through a longer rear-hatch glass area, a horizontally extended rear roof spoiler, and a fourth-seat rear bench (the Sport Turismo is the only Panamera body to ship with a 4+1 rear-bench configuration). Production ran 2017 through 2023; the third-generation Panamera 972 (2024+) retained only the saloon body, ending Porsche's shooting-brake experiment after a single generation. The Mansory programme is dimensioned specifically against the 971 Sport Turismo rear-roof geometry — the Sport Turismo roof spoiler and the rear hatch carbon accent use separate SKUs from the saloon programme.
The Sport Turismo is the only estate / shooting-brake donor in the Mansory catalogue across every brand — nothing in the Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, BMW or Audi Mansory books shares the shooting-brake format. The closest analogue is the AMG GT 4-door (fastback-coupé) and the Panamera 971 saloon sister body — but neither is a true shooting-brake. That body-style rarity is what defines the Sport Turismo commission profile: buyers choose the Sport Turismo specifically to avoid both the saloon silhouette and the SUV body, and the Mansory programme leans into that distinctive horizontal-roofline silhouette rather than trying to pull it toward the saloon or toward the Cayenne Coupé.
Material: PU-RIM with visible carbon weave as standard; full dry-carbon upgrade available. Install runs five to six shop days. The Mansory kit preserves factory Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) roof-wing articulation — the roof spoiler extends at factory speed threshold (~170 km/h) without interference.
Panamera 4 Sport Turismo: 2.9 V6 TT, 330 hp, AWD as standard (Sport Turismo never offered in RWD). Panamera 4S Sport Turismo: 2.9 V6 TT, 440 hp. Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo: 2.9 V6 TT + electric, 462 hp combined PHEV. Panamera GTS Sport Turismo: 4.0 TT V8, 460 hp (480 hp post-facelift), tuned exhaust. Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo: 4.0 TT V8, 550 hp (pre-facelift). Panamera Turbo S Sport Turismo: 4.0 TT V8, 630 hp (post-2020 facelift). Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo: 4.0 TT V8 + 100 kW electric motor, 680 hp / 850 Nm combined PHEV, 0-100 km/h 3.2 s. The Mansory body programme fits all donor engines. Mansory 4.0 TT V8 stage-1 tune is available as a separate workshop SKU and raises Turbo output to approximately 620 hp, Turbo S to approximately 680 hp, Turbo S E-Hybrid to approximately 730 hp combined. Stage-1 preserves factory PDK 8-speed calibration and factory PTM torque distribution.
Factory Panamera Sport Turismo ships on 19"-21" depending on trim. Mansory's forged wheel offering extends to 22" as standard commission choice. Tyre spec: Pirelli P Zero (PZ4), Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Full range at Hodoor forged wheels.
The Sport Turismo Mansory commission book tracks the small but globally-distributed shooting-brake enthusiast buyer profile:
Germany home-market. Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart (Porsche's own home city), Düsseldorf, Berlin. German commissions are Panamera Sport Turismo-heavy across the European commission book — the shooting-brake estate body resonates particularly with German buyers who value autobahn-grade long-distance packaging. Typical German commission: GTS or Turbo Sport Turismo, 22" forged, restrained visible-weave scope.
UK. London, Surrey belt, Cotswolds country garages. UK Sport Turismo commissions cluster in country-estate garages where the shooting-brake silhouette matches the traditional British estate-car aesthetic. Turbo S E-Hybrid specifications are common.
Benelux / Scandinavia cold-climate corridor. Netherlands (Amsterdam, The Hague), Belgium (Brussels, Antwerp), Norway (Oslo — one of the strongest per-capita Panamera markets globally driven by EV / PHEV tax structure), Sweden (Stockholm), Denmark (Copenhagen), Finland (Helsinki). Nordic Sport Turismo commissions weight heavily toward Turbo S E-Hybrid PHEV — the combination of estate packaging and PHEV tax treatment aligns with Scandinavian commission patterns.
Gulf. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain run thin but steady Sport Turismo orders (the shooting-brake is less common in the Gulf commission profile than the saloon Panamera or the Cayenne Coupé). Russia / CIS Sport Turismo commissions route through Tsar programme. China and Hong Kong run small volumes. USA Sport Turismo commissions are geographically spread but low-volume — the US market never fully embraced the estate body style.
The Sport Turismo programme sits alongside the Panamera 971 saloon (same MSB platform, saloon body), the Cayenne Coupé, the Macan, the 911 Turbo 991, the 992 Turbo S, the Cayenne 958 and the Taycan.
Full Sport Turismo kit: five to six weeks from the workshop. Dry-carbon upgrade: adds one to two weeks. 4.0 TT V8 stage-1 tune (GTS / Turbo / Turbo S / Turbo S E-Hybrid): two weeks. 22" forged wheel set: four weeks. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +44 7488 818747 with your VIN, the Sport Turismo trim (4 / 4S / 4 E-Hybrid / GTS / Turbo / Turbo S / Turbo S E-Hybrid), the kit scope, material tier, wheel size, tune preference and OEM Porsche paint code.
Is the Sport Turismo roof spoiler Mansory SKU different from the Panamera saloon's rear spoiler?
Yes. The Sport Turismo carries a horizontally-extended roof-line wing with a different airflow footprint from the saloon's tail-mounted rear spoiler. The Mansory roof spoiler for Sport Turismo is a dedicated SKU dimensioned against the 971 Sport Turismo roof geometry and the factory PAA (Porsche Active Aerodynamics) adaptive-wing articulation.
Does the kit fit both pre-facelift (2017-2020) and post-facelift (2020-2023) Sport Turismo?
Yes. The front bumper and rear diffuser are calibrated against both pre-facelift and the 971.2 facelift revised front-end / rear-end cosmetic geometry.
Is PAA adaptive-wing articulation preserved?
Yes. The Mansory Sport Turismo roof spoiler is structurally integrated with the factory PAA adaptive-wing mechanism and preserves the factory speed-threshold deployment (~170 km/h) and retracted-position aesthetic.
Is the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid PHEV compatible?
Yes. The PHEV variant shares body panel geometry with ICE Turbo S; the Mansory body programme is bodywork-only and does not interact with the PHEV 17.9 kWh battery pack (rear-axle-mounted) or the electric motor integrated in the PDK housing. Factory EV-only range (up to 56 km) and factory charging function are preserved.
Why did Porsche end the Sport Turismo body style with the 972?
Sport Turismo production volumes never caught up with saloon volumes in any generation-cycle year. The 972-generation Panamera (2024+) reverted to saloon-only production. Mansory's Sport Turismo commission book is therefore closed to end-of-production donors — every Sport Turismo Mansory commission from 2024 onwards is on a 2017-2023 used-car donor.
