The Lamborghini Urus launched in 2018 as Sant'Agata's super-SUV on the VW Group MLB Evo platform shared with the Audi RSQ8, the Bentley Bentayga, the Porsche Cayenne Coupé and the VW Touareg. The Urus S facelift (2023) and the Urus Performante (2022) took the single-generation Urus line into the 666 hp tier, and the Urus SE (2024) added the PHEV powertrain pushing combined output to 800 hp. Mansory's Soft Kit is a reversible bolt-on carbon overlay — no bumper replacement, no panel swap. Every part is removable under a single shop day. The Soft Kit shares ethos with the F8 Soft Kit on Ferrari and the MC20 on Maserati — reversibility preserves collector-market disposition and factory-warranty paths.
The Urus has the strongest residual-value curve of any super-SUV ever produced — pre-facelift models are clearing auction blocks above MSRP on low-mileage examples six years into the model cycle. That collector-market trajectory makes reversibility strategically valuable for Urus owners: a future buyer can restore the car to factory appearance without structural evidence of the modification. The Soft Kit is the Mansory tier that supports that pathway. The full Urus Venatus programme (the non-Soft-Kit wide-body conversion — see the Venatus EVO) is the choice for owners who commit the car to permanent modification; the Soft Kit is for owners who want the carbon visual language without committing the bodywork. Two Mansory customer profiles map almost perfectly to the two tiers — the build-and-keep profile goes Venatus EVO, the build-and-enjoy-then-disposition profile goes Soft Kit.
Material: PU-RIM with visible carbon weave as standard; full dry-carbon upgrade available. Install runs three to four shop days. De-install under a single shop day leaves factory bodywork unmarked.
The Mansory Soft Kit is dimensioned across the full Urus production range without SKU split. Pre-facelift Urus (2018-2022): 4.0 TT V8 (EA825), 650 hp / 850 Nm, 8-speed ZF torque-converter auto, 0-100 km/h 3.6 s. Urus S (2023+ facelift): same V8 raised to 666 hp / 850 Nm with revised exhaust tract and revised front bumper graphic. Urus Performante (2022+): 666 hp / 850 Nm, ride height dropped 20 mm, air-spring suspension replaced by steel coils, 47 kg lighter, Pirelli Trofeo R street-legal track tyres from factory. Urus SE (2024+ PHEV): 4.0 TT V8 + electric motor, 800 hp combined, 60 km electric-only range, 8-speed auto with integrated e-motor. The Soft Kit is bodywork only — no powertrain modification. Mansory EA825 stage-1 tune is available as a separate SKU (raises pre-facelift to ~750 hp, Urus S/Performante to ~760 hp); PHEV Urus SE is not currently offered at stage-1 tune.
The Performante runs a 20 mm lower ride height than Urus / Urus S, runs steel-coil suspension rather than air, and ships with a factory front splitter and rear diffuser aero package already more aggressive than the base Urus. The Soft Kit parts are calibrated to clip onto the Performante's factory aero elements — the Mansory front lip sits forward of the factory Performante front splitter, the rear diffuser bezel slides over the Performante's carbon diffuser without interference with the factory aero geometry. Performante commissions typically specify the rocker-blade / fender-vent / mirror-cap / bonnet-vent Soft Kit parts and skip the front lip (the factory Performante splitter is already aggressive enough).
Factory pre-facelift Urus ships on 21"/22", Urus S/Performante on 22"/23", Urus SE on 22"/23". Mansory's forged wheel offering extends to 24" on Urus / Urus S (not recommended on Performante due to ride-height geometry). Tyre spec: Pirelli P Zero or Scorpion Zero Asymmetric. Full range at Hodoor forged wheels.
The Urus is the most-commissioned Mansory donor in the current catalogue by order-volume. The Soft Kit tier concentrates in geographies where collector-market reversibility matters:
Gulf corridor. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait. Gulf buyers typically run two Urus commissions in parallel — a Soft Kit primary daily and a Venatus EVO build — and the Soft Kit is the dispositional asset that rotates every two to three years.
USA — Miami, LA, NYC. USA Urus commissions split Soft Kit / full-conversion roughly evenly. Miami and LA carry the highest Urus commission density; NYC / Hamptons runs are predominantly Soft Kit to protect auction-book disposition.
Europe. Germany (Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf), UK (London, Surrey belt), Italy (Milan, Rome), France (Paris, Monaco), Switzerland (Zurich, Geneva). German commissions strongly favour Soft Kit for TÜV retention considerations. UK commissions split by garage — London town-car Urus commissions favour Soft Kit, country-garage Urus commissions favour the full Venatus EVO.
Asia — China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Thailand. Asian Urus commissions are dominated by Urus S and Urus Performante buyers. The Soft Kit tier is particularly strong in Hong Kong and Singapore, where parking-garage clearances are a consideration and the full Venatus EVO wide-body conversion adds millimetres to overall width. Russia / CIS Urus orders route through the Tsar programme.
The Soft Kit sits alongside the Venatus EVO full-conversion wide-body programme (permanent front/rear bumper swap with +80 mm track width), the Venatus base programme and the MLB-Evo sister builds: Audi RSQ8, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne Coupé.
Full Soft Kit: three to four weeks from the workshop. Dry-carbon upgrade: adds one week. Stage-1 tune (pre-facelift / Urus S / Performante only, not PHEV SE): two weeks. 22"-24" forged wheel set: four weeks. Is the Soft Kit really fully reversible without factory-bodywork damage?
Yes. Every Soft Kit part is bolt-on over preserved factory paint. De-install returns the Urus to factory appearance under a single shop day; the factory bumpers are not replaced, no panel cutting, no structural modification. The programme was designed specifically around collector-market disposition and factory-warranty retention.
Does the Soft Kit fit the new Urus SE PHEV?
Yes. The Urus SE shares the Urus S front / rear bumper geometry so the Soft Kit front lip, rear diffuser bezel, rocker blades, mirror caps and fender vents fit without SKU split. The Soft Kit is bodywork only and does not interact with the PHEV electrical architecture. The PHEV-specific exhaust tip positioning is preserved.
What is the difference between Soft Kit and the Venatus EVO wide-body?
Scope. Soft Kit is bolt-on carbon overlays, factory bumpers retained, factory track width retained (no +80 mm), reversible. Venatus EVO is full-conversion — front bumper replaced, rear bumper replaced, fender flares add +80 mm track width, typically specified with the Venatus bonnet. Soft Kit → two-to-three-year ownership with future disposition. Venatus EVO → long-term build-and-keep.
Is TÜV / EU type-approval preserved with the Soft Kit?
The Soft Kit's bolt-on nature means TÜV single-vehicle acceptance is typically approved at the first annual HU inspection without issue. German commissions with TÜV paperwork pre-ordered from the workshop are covered under the Mansory TÜV certification pack (available separately at order time). Certification covers body dimensions, lighting regulation clearance and weight impact.
Does the Soft Kit work alongside an aftermarket Urus exhaust?
Yes. The Soft Kit rear diffuser bezel is a bolt-on surround over the factory diffuser fins and quad-tip exhaust layout. Aftermarket exhaust systems (Akrapovič, IPE, Capristo) retain the factory quad-tip positioning and fit under the Mansory rear diffuser bezel without geometry conflict. Mansory's own sport exhaust is available as a separate workshop SKU.
