The Mansory V-class is one of the few products in the catalogue that is built almost exclusively for fleet operators rather than for individual end-buyers. The reason is the use case: the V-class W447 is the European luxury VIP-shuttle of choice, the airport-to-hotel transfer vehicle in Geneva, Monte-Carlo, Zurich, London, Munich and Milan, and the on-set transport for the European film and television industry. The Mansory programme exists to give those operators a vehicle that reads as bespoke without leaving the operational envelope of a fleet asset.

Catalogued here is the kit for the 2019+ W447 facelift — the second-cycle V-class with the revised front fascia (new diamond-pattern grille, repositioned LED daytime running lights, updated bumper geometry), the OM654 four-cylinder diesel as the volume powertrain, and the OM656 inline-six diesel as the higher-tier alternative.

What this kit really is

Two parallel things, specifiable together or separately:

1. The exterior body programme. Restrained carbon work that lifts the V-class read from "premium MPV" to "named-edition luxury vehicle". Operators specify this when the V-class needs to compete on visual brief with the Maybach S-class or the Cullinan as the airport-arrival vehicle. The body programme alone is a ~3-week order-to-delivery lead time once allocation is confirmed.

2. The full VIP cabin conversion. A separate-scope project that strips the standard V-class rear cabin and rebuilds it as a 4-seat or 6-seat captain-chair lounge with privacy partition wall, ambient lighting, refrigerated bar, monitor screens, and bespoke leather and wood retrim. The kit retains all factory ADAS sensors, side-door power-slide hardware, and the rear-tailgate power-lift mechanism. The 2019 facelift's MBUX system and adaptive cruise are unaffected.

VIP cabin conversion — what it includes

  • Bespoke wood or carbon trim on the partition wall, side panels and door cards
  • Acoustic insulation — additional sound-deadening to lift the cabin's read closer to S-class quietness

Cabin conversions are typically configured for 4-seat lounge or 6-seat shuttle. The 4-seat lounge maximises individual seat space and is the airport-VIP standard; the 6-seat shuttle is the corporate-and-team-transport standard. Both are based on the same chassis hardware.

Wheel choice

Factory W447 wheel sizes range 17"-19". Mansory typically steps to 21" or 22" forged staggered, tyre fitment 245/40 R21 or 255/35 R22. The V-class load profile (3-tonne GVW) and the use-case implications (year-round operation including winter conditions in Continental Europe) require careful wheel-and-tyre matching — operators frequently specify a winter-tyre alternate set on a separate wheel pattern as part of the same commission. Does the kit fit pre-facelift W447 (2014-2018) cars? Catalogued here is the 2019+ facelift only. Pre-facelift W447 is supported by a separate Mansory programme — specify donor build year at order intake and Mansory will route the order to the correct kit specification.

Will the kit fit a Marco Polo camper W447? The body kit fits the standard V-class chassis; the Marco Polo camper variant retains the standard V-class front and rear bumper geometry, so the Mansory kit fits, but the cabin conversion does not (Marco Polo cabin is a different module entirely).

Can the cabin conversion be specified without the body kit? Yes. The two are independent. Operators sometimes specify the cabin conversion alone on a stock-bodied V-class to maintain a more discreet exterior read.

Is the 2019 OM654 four-cylinder donor adequate for the converted vehicle weight? Yes — the OM654 in V250 / V300 calibration (190 hp / 230 hp / 250 Nm-450 Nm depending on output) handles the converted-vehicle GVW within manufacturer specification. Higher-tier operators frequently specify the OM656 inline-six diesel for the longer-range routes (Geneva-Zurich corridor, Munich-Milan).

Will the kit work on the new V-class W467 (2024+)? No. The 2024+ W467 is a different platform with a fully revised body — the W447 kit does not fit. Mansory's W467 programme is in development and not yet shipping at catalogue scope.
