Body Kit Mansory Style Carbon for Audi RS Q8

This is the complete Mansory Carbon Fiber Body kit set for Audi RS Q8 rendered in the Mansory-style replica line: front splitter, race flaps, side skirts, rear bumper splitter, rear-decklid spoiler and roof spoiler, all in full prepreg carbon with autoclave cure. The geometry is taken from the same body-line references as the genuine Mansory programme, the wall thicknesses are matched, the surface finish is matched, and externally the kit is indistinguishable from the factory original. What changes is the price tag: by producing the kit on the hodoor production line rather than sourcing badged crates, we cut the bill substantially while keeping the silhouette of Audi's 600 hp V8 biturbo flagship intact at full pace up to its 305 km/h Dynamic+ ceiling.

Construction & Materials

Every panel in the set is built up from prepreg carbon, with directional weave laid by hand in the high-load zones (splitter leading edges, race-flap stalks, spoiler trailing edges) and 3K twill running in continuous body-line directions on the visible faces. The cores are laid wet-dry to keep flex predictable on a 2,315 kg SUV, then bagged and pulled through a full autoclave cycle so the resin matrix reaches the same density and dimensional stability as the donor moulds.

  • 3K twill prepreg outer skins on every visible panel; uniform weave pitch 3.7 mm
  • Autoclave cure at 2.5 bar / 120 C, identical schedule to the genuine line
  • Wall thickness 1.6-2.4 mm depending on panel; thicker on splitter leading edges
  • Approx kit weight (full set, dry, no fasteners): 18.5-21.0 kg
  • Mounting: OEM bumper bolts, factory clip locations, 3M VHB on side skirts
  • Finish options: clear gloss UV-stable lacquer, matte clear, or soft-touch satin
  • Edges hand-trimmed and flame-polished; no visible bond seams on outer faces
  • Backing structure ribbed where the genuine Mansory mould carries ribs, for fitment parity

Design & Visual Function

The point of the Mansory-style line is silhouette parity. The front splitter sits at the same chin offset as the genuine version, the race flaps catch the same shadow on the front-bumper outboard intakes, the side skirts carry the same step under the rocker, and the rear-bumper splitter and rear-decklid spoiler line up exactly with the trunk trailing edge and diffuser cut on the original factory references. From three metres away, and from any angle a passer-by, photographer or valet will encounter, the kit reads as the genuine Mansory body kit. Owners who want the look without the documentation overhead of badged Mansory parts get exactly that.

Aerodynamically, the kit preserves the V8 biturbo cooling architecture rather than fighting it. The front splitter clears the central radiator inlet at full duct width, so the radiator core sees no shrouding loss, and the race flaps actually accelerate the corner flow into the side intercoolers behind the front fenders, which is where the RS Q8's biturbo charge-cooling lives. The rear-decklid spoiler is sized to deliver useful downforce at motorway pace on a 2.3-tonne SUV without spiking drag, and the roof spoiler pre-conditions the airflow that lands on the decklid lip so the two work together rather than stalling each other.

Visually, the kit reads as a single design language because every panel is referenced off the same parent geometry. The 3K twill weave runs continuously across the splitter, side skirts and rear splitter; the gloss lacquer reflects the same way along the rocker as it does along the rear apron; and the spoiler stack at the back (decklid lip plus roof spoiler) lands exactly where the genuine Mansory aero break is meant to land, neither half a centimetre forward nor half a centimetre back.

Compatibility & Fitment

Audi RS Q8 (4M chassis, MY2020+). The kit is produced in two trims of the parent geometry: pre-facelift (2020-2023) bumper geometry and facelift Performance (2024+) bumper geometry, since Audi reshaped the front and rear apron tooling slightly with the update. Specify the model year at order so the splitter, race flaps and rear splitter are pulled from the matching mould set. All OEM Audi parking sensors, ACC radar housing, headlight washer caps and drive-mode bumper-flap actuators are retained. LHD and RHD are equally supported; the kit is geometrically symmetrical apart from the side-skirt rocker step.

Installation & Reversibility

Allow a full body-shop day plus a paint-prep day. The bumper-mounted panels (front splitter, race flaps, rear splitter) bolt to the original Audi mounting bosses, so the bumpers themselves are not modified; the side skirts mount with 3M VHB tape on degreased rocker substrate plus three OEM clip locations per side; the rear-decklid spoiler bonds to the trunk trailing edge with structural adhesive plus OEM through-points; the roof spoiler clips into the existing roof-rail trim line. Lift the air suspension to its highest setting before sliding the front splitter in - the chin lip clears better at full lift. The kit is reversible: removed, the OEM bumpers and trunk lid carry only the original holes. DIY is feasible only for an owner who has fitted bumpers before; we recommend a certified body shop for the full set.

Pairing within the Mansory RS Q8 programme

Within the Mansory-style line, this kit pairs with the matching front-mask, splitter and decklid spoiler from the same replica programme so the aesthetic stays internally coherent. Specifically: the Front mask with silver logo - Mansory style finishes the grille module above the splitter; the Splitter for the front mask - Mansory style closes the chin transition between the front mask and this body kit's main splitter; and the Rear decklid spoiler - Mansory style is supplied from the same replica mould as the spoiler shipped inside this kit, useful as a service spare. Stay inside the Mansory-style line for these pairings; mixing genuine Mansory carbon with style-line panels on the same car is visually fine but commercially incoherent.

Maintenance & Durability

The lacquer is UV-stable, but the same care logic applies as to genuine lacquered carbon: wash with pH-neutral shampoo, never use ammonia-based glass cleaner near the panels, never use an alkaline wheel cleaner anywhere it can drift onto the splitter or rear apron, and stay away from aggressive solvents at the body-line edges. A ceramic coat (9H or better) on top of the factory lacquer extends gloss life dramatically; carnauba is fine but needs more frequent reapplication. Stone chips on the splitter leading edge are normal on a 2.3-tonne SUV at motorway pace and chip-repair compatibly with standard automotive clear-coat workflow at any competent body shop. Expected gloss life with sane care: 6-8 years before recoat.

Lead Time & Warranty

Production lead time for the full Mansory-style kit is 4-8 weeks from order confirmation, occasionally longer if the facelift mould set is in batch production. Each kit ships with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects (delamination, lacquer crazing not caused by impact, fitment that cannot be aligned to OEM bosses). Warranty is on the parts; installation is the body-shop's responsibility.

FAQ

Q: How is this different from the genuine Mansory body kit?
A: The geometry is matched, the carbon construction is matched (prepreg, autoclave), the fitment is matched. What differs is provenance: the kit is produced on the hodoor line rather than badged at the Mansory factory. Externally, owners and detailers cannot tell the kits apart at a glance.

Q: Will it fit my 2024 RS Q8 Performance?
A: Yes - specify Performance / facelift at order so we pull the 2024+ mould set. The pre-facelift mould set is also live for 2020-2023 cars. The two are not interchangeable on the front and rear aprons.

Q: Are the OEM parking sensors and ACC radar retained?
A: Yes. The splitter, race flaps and rear splitter are CNC-aligned to leave the OEM sensor cones, ACC radar housing and headlight washer caps fully functional with no electronic recalibration required.

Q: Can I order single panels later as service spares?
A: Yes. Every panel inside the kit is also a standalone SKU in the Mansory-style catalogue, so a damaged splitter or spoiler is replaced one panel at a time without reordering the full set.

Q: What is the typical install time?
A: A full-set fit at a body shop that knows the RS Q8 4M is one working day for mechanical fit plus one day for paint and detail; figure two days door-to-door for a properly executed install with the air suspension at maximum lift.

Q: Lacquered or raw weave?
A: Default is gloss clear lacquer, UV-stable. Matte clear and soft-touch satin are available at order. Raw weave is not recommended on a daily-driven car because the resin matrix needs UV protection.

Within the Mansory-style line, this kit pairs with the matching front-mask, front-mask splitter and decklid spoiler from the same programme. Talk to us about a turnkey order. WhatsApp +44 7488 818 747 or [email protected].
