This is the Mansory body conversion for the Aston Martin Vanquish AM310 — Gaydon's second-generation flagship grand tourer, in production between 2012 and 2018 as the spiritual and naming successor to the original Vanquish (AM01) of 2001. The AM310 is the most highly-evolved car of Aston's fourth-generation VH platform: a bonded aluminium tub joined to carbon-fibre composite outer body panels, the AM11 6.0 V12 naturally-aspirated, the rear-mounted Touchtronic II six-speed automatic on 2012-2014 cars and the ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic on the post-2014 S. The Mansory programme treats the Vanquish as a carbon-on-carbon body — most of the kit panels bond directly onto OEM carbon outer skin rather than aluminium fenders, which puts the same family of laminate on both sides of the bond joint and removes the galvanic-risk question that arises on Bentley or Ferrari aluminium-fender donors.
Sister Astons in the Hodoor catalogue: the V12-engined DBS / DB9 Cyrus programme, the open-roof DB9 Volante and the SUV DBX.

The Mansory kit is dimensioned for the standard AM310 coupe and Volante body lines. The Zagato editions share the AM310 chassis and powertrain but use Zagato-specific carbon body panels — Mansory does not modify Zagato cars without prior consultation, since the Zagato body geometry differs from the standard Vanquish on the front bumper, bonnet and rear deck.
The Vanquish is unusual among Mansory donors in that most of the OEM outer body is already carbon-fibre composite, not aluminium. The Vanquish's outer skin — fenders, doors, rear quarters, bonnet, boot lid — was supplied to Aston Martin by ATR Composites in Italy and bonded to the bonded-aluminium tub at Gaydon. The Mansory programme works with this. Carbon flares bond directly onto the OEM carbon fender skin using a lamination-grade two-part adhesive (different from the structural-aluminium bonder used on Bentley or Ferrari donors); the front bumper bolts onto the OEM carbon front sub-structure; the rear bumper and diffuser bond onto the OEM carbon rear quarter without intermediate metallic mounts. The result is a kit that does not introduce galvanic risk between the OEM composite and the Mansory weave — both substrates are the same family of carbon laminate.
The matched fitment is the M-series fully forged 21" wheel in stagger sizing (9.5J x 21 front / 11.5J x 21 rear). The OEM Vanquish wheel is 20" forged 10-spoke (volume) or 20" diamond-turned (S spec). The Mansory 21" stays one inch above OEM and saves approximately 3 kg of unsprung mass per corner. Diamond black, polished silver and Mansory bronze read well against the typical Aston paint catalogue (Stratus White, Skyfall Silver, Quantum Silver, Ultramarine Black). Brake clearance: the OEM Brembo six-piston / four-piston package fits the Mansory forging without spacers. Wheel range at the forged wheel collection.
The Vanquish runs the AM11 6.0 V12 — a naturally-aspirated unit related to the Aston DBS V12 family. There is no factory turbocharger and no Mansory tuning offering. Aston Martin upgraded the engine in 2016 (Vanquish S) with revised inlet manifolds and a higher-flow exhaust to lift output from 573 PS to 600 PS — that is the factory ceiling. Mansory does not catalogue a Powerbox for the AM11. Clients seeking power gains route to Aston Martin specialists (notably AM Works at Newport Pagnell for warranty-respecting work, or RGB-style independent shops for ECU and intake modifications). The Mansory programme is body-only on this car; the Touchtronic II / ZF 8HP transmission and the rear-mounted transaxle remain in factory configuration.
Body-shop time at a Mansory-experienced workshop runs 14 to 18 days for the full programme on a coupe and 16 to 20 days on the Volante (fabric-roof cars require additional fitment time on the rear bumper to clear the soft-top stowage envelope). Most Vanquish clients take painted finish on the front bumper, fenders and side skirts (matched to OEM Aston paint) and visible-weave finish on the bonnet, diffuser and rear wing — this is the typical Aston aesthetic, where the carbon weave reads as detail rather than as a programme statement.
Vanquish AM310 production was approximately 2,000 coupes plus circa 600 Volantes plus the Zagato editions. The surviving population is concentrated in collector and dry-storage markets. Mansory Vanquish demand clusters in the United Kingdom as the home market, Isle of Man for British-flag clients, Monaco for low-mileage stored examples, and Guernsey for Channel Islands fitments. Jersey closes the Channel-Islands corridor with a small standing book of Vanquish coupes. Quotes via [email protected] or WhatsApp +44 7488 818747; specify chassis year (pre/post 2014 facelift), trim (launch / S / Volante) and transmission (Touchtronic II / ZF 8HP) so the correct rear bumper variant ships.
Why does the rear bumper come in two variants?
The Vanquish moved from the Touchtronic II six-speed (2012-2014) to the ZF 8HP eight-speed on the Vanquish S (2016+). The exhaust mid-pipe geometry shifted with the new transmission, changing the rear-tip exit angle at the bumper cutout by approximately 8 mm. Mansory ships the rear bumper in pre-2014 and 2016+ variants and selects by chassis VIN at quote.
Will the kit fit my original 2001 Vanquish (AM01)?
No. The 2001-2007 Vanquish (chassis AM01) is a different platform with a different body. The AM310 from 2012 shares the name but not the chassis; Mansory does not catalogue a kit for the original Vanquish at this time.
Does the kit work on a Vanquish Zagato?
Not directly. The Zagato editions (Coupe, Volante, Speedster, Shooting Brake) share the AM310 chassis and AM11 V12 powertrain but use Zagato-specific outer body panels — the front bumper, bonnet, rear deck and side scoops differ. Mansory does not stock a Zagato-specific kit; Zagato clients work with Zagato-affiliated body shops in Italy.
Does the carbon flare bonding void Aston Martin Works warranty coverage?
AM Works does not extend powertrain or chassis warranty work on cars carrying aftermarket body modifications without prior consultation. The bonded carbon flares are reversible — the Mansory adhesive is removable with controlled heat at a Mansory-experienced shop without damaging the OEM carbon fender skin — but the work is best done with prior agreement from AM Works if the car is under any warranty. Out-of-warranty coupes (most of the population by 2026) carry no such constraint.
Will the kit clear the Volante's fabric soft-top stowage?
Yes. The Volante's soft-top folds into a rear deck stowage compartment ahead of the boot lid. The Mansory rear bumper, diffuser and rear wing are dimensioned around the OEM stowage geometry; the rear wing sits aft of the soft-top compartment latch and does not interfere with hood operation. Volante clients receive a soft-top operation confirmation note as part of the fitment record.
