What is the FMR® barrel?
FMR® stands for Forged Monoblok Rim — HRE's proprietary one-piece forged aluminum barrel. Unlike traditional 3-piece barrels made from spun aluminum, the FMR® barrel is forged from 6061-T6 billet using the same process as HRE's Monoblok centers. This results in a stiffer, lighter barrel with higher concentricity and no air seal requirement.
Can I choose between Angled Lip and Flange Lip?
Yes. All S101SC in 20"–22" are available with both Angled Lip (deep chamfer) and Flange Lip (motorsport look) barrel profiles. For 23" and 24", HRE uses the Round Lip FMR-X barrel instead of the Angled Lip.
How is the S101SC different from the S101 3-Piece?
