Hybrid Forged Technology — How the CVR9 is Built

Concaver's Hybrid Forged process combines the design flexibility of casting with the grain-alignment benefits of flow-forming, a technique refined in aerospace manufacturing. A precision-cast aluminum face is mounted on a flow-forming drum and heated, then high-pressure steel rollers travel down the barrel applying compressive force — stretching the material to its target width while aligning the grain structure along the stress axis. The finished barrel is significantly denser and stronger than a conventionally cast counterpart. The face and barrel are then assembled, powder-coated in the chosen finish, and inspected before shipping. The stainless steel lip is added in a final finishing stage, polished or treated to coordinate with the outer face color.
