HOW DOES RAMBACH ™ POWERBOX WORK?

Rambach ™ PowerBox consists of modern hardware and firmware. The module is installed as an add-on device between the engine control unit and the fuel injection system sensors. By reading the output from the engine sensor and the signals from a regular vehicle control unit, the Rambach ™ PowerBox processes the incoming information based on the built-in optimization algorithm and returns an additional signal to the control unit, correcting its actions.

With the slightest change in engine operating conditions (temperature, speed, load), the Rambach ™ PowerBox module instantly comes into operation in the control system. The highly efficient hardware of the module makes the on-board system of the car work faster. Indeed, thanks to the new PowerBox block, the time between the arrival of signals, the processing of various parameters and the output of the result is reduced to 50 milliseconds.

The principal feature of the Rambach ™ PowerBox module is that it does not replace the signal of a standard onboard system, as numerous devices for tuning (including chip tuning) the engine power do, but corrects and accelerates its formation in the regular block itself. The control signal is generated directly in the standard on-board computer of the car and passes through the engine protection system installed by the car manufacturer. It is this feature of the Rambach ™ PowerBox modules that allows their use without damaging the engine and fully preserving the vehicle's motor life.

WHAT DOES THE RAMBACH ™ POWERBOX INSTALL?
Installing the Rambach ™ PowerBox makes the entire engine management system much smarter and faster. A car with an installed Rambach ™ PowerBox module acquires a dynamic smooth acceleration and movement, the effect of the turbo well and idle spurt disappears, the over-enrichment of the fuel-air mixture is eliminated, which, in turn, reduces fuel consumption. The principle of operation of the module is based on the patented algorithms of the Rambach DSGV and Rambach DSGV X1, developed by Rambach-Industrie GmbH and used in the creation of modules to increase the capacity for motor sports and special vehicles.

The new PowerBox module with a membrane keyboard allows you to protect the engine as much as possible from poor-quality domestic fuel, while maximizing power and reducing fuel economy (without sacrificing service life). It has 4 fundamentally new programs:

Summer program. Designed for the maximum possible increase in power for a more dynamic mode of movement of the vehicle and its operation within the maximum allowable limits. We recommend to use at air temperature + 2C and above.
Winter mode. Provides a smooth operation of the engine to prevent slippage at the beginning of the movement and greatly facilitates engine start at sub-zero temperatures. We recommend to use at air temperature + 2C and below.
European fuel. This program is designed to increase engine power during the operation of European fuel. (This mode is used in PowerBox modules that are intended for sale in Europe).
Emergency mode We recommend using it in cases when, after refueling at unfamiliar gas stations, you notice a deterioration in engine performance.
Each of these programs has 7 levels of adjustment, which allow drivers to adjust it to a specific car as much as possible.

Rambach ™ PowerBox comes complete with cables connecting to the engine fuel injection control system, which are made individually for each car brand and engine modification. Rambach-Industrie GmbH guarantees the highest quality not only of the module itself, but also of the plugs and connectors intended for its connection. All manufactured modules have a sealed enclosure that perfectly protects the hardware of the PowerBox unit from the negative effects of dust, moisture, corrosive liquids, electromagnetic and temperature factors.
