Weight advantage: The PF1 Ultrasport+ uses Brixton's milled back-pad pocketing — material is removed from the inboard side of the wheel where it adds no strength — combined with water channeling on the spoke ribs. The result is a forged wheel set significantly lighter than a comparable cast or flow-formed 20" wheel in the same size, which translates directly into quicker turn-in, shorter braking, and better ride compliance over imperfect surfaces.
